Goals for the future
- Continue to work on the development of the Heartland Commerce & Technology Park in order to attract new industries with high paying jobs.
- Continue to work on the revitalization of downtown Campbellsville
- Work on building Green River Lodge and Golf Course
- Continue to work on programs to improve the lives of our senior citizens
- Continue to work with our State and Federal officials to improve the road system in our County and City
- Continue to install sidewalks in the city
- Continue to work with community to install additional sewer lines using $1 million grant funds.
- Install 17 plus County water lines using $1.440,000 grant
- Lay a 10" transmission line to Spurlington tank -($470,000 in grant funds)
- Lay a new 10" transmission water line to Speck Ridge - ($375,000 in grant funds)
- Build a new floating in-take tower at Green River Lake to feed water plant ( $1,000,00 grant funds)
- Continue to work on grants to build 3 new 1 million gallon storage tanks.
- Work on developing a new and larger park system for our youth
- Continue to have an open door policy for all citizens
- Continue to seek grants for needed projects in our community
- Work to bring restaurants and more retail stores to our City
- Continue to upgrade the City’s equipment by rotating new equipment when needed
- Continue to provide education and training for city employees to better serve the community
- Continue to seek grants funds to replace 3 each million gallon water tanks
